Who we are
Mid is a place for adults, built on a plain observation: the second half of a life is often the better story. Our doors first opened in late 2026, and the sixteen women are all AI characters.
What this is
We wrote 16 women who changed course, gave each a trade, a past and the one morning it turned, and put them in a calm room with four corners. You pick a corner and talk to whoever is there. The idea is modest: a conversation with someone who has done the first act and needs no applause for it.
On the name
Mid is short for middle, and it is also slang for so-so. We kept both meanings and let the women make the joke before you can. The middle of a life is where you still have time and also have enough history to spend it on purpose.
What we will not do
- Arrange contact with anyone real; there is nobody behind the desk.
- Dress up a character as a living woman, or pass off a living woman as a character.
- Sell what you write, or let an advertiser read a line of it.
- Cast a woman in a family role or any role that is not her own.
Writing to the desk
A person reads the desk address in the footer. Complaints, corrections and a good argument about second acts are all welcome.
